Whole Hawg Days & Poker Run

The Poker Run, the longest continuous event at Lake Eufuala, will be 8:30 a.m. 'All of the marinas will be open,' Morris said. 'The run will finish at Eufaula Cove Marina, and the top. The Lake Eufaula Association's Golden Eagle Poker Run is almost here. We are expecting a lot of entries this year which will provide lots of revenue to pay out to winners of the competition. We introduced more ways to win money, so don't miss it. Sign up early and save on the registration fee.

TWhole Hawg Days & Poker Run in Eufaula is a celebration of summer that includes a parade, car show, barbecue cook-off and much more. The Whole Hawg Days carnival in Posey Park will open Thursday evening, followed by traditional rodeo events, steer riding and mutton bustin’ in the Eufaula Round-Up Club Rodeo, held each night of the event. Show up Friday for arts and craft vendors, inflatable rides, a parade downtown at 6pm and more. Saturday’s activities will include the annual car show, children’s activities, a “hawg” cook-off contest and a free sandwich giveaway at 5pm.

This annual event, held for over 20 years in Eufaula, is brought to a close on Saturday with the much-anticipated Whole Hawg Poker Run, held by boat and motorcycle around Lake Eufaula. Pick up cards at participating marinas around the lake, then return to the starting point to see which lucky player has created the best five-card stud poker hand. This poker run features plenty of fun and cash prizes.
